By kind permission of our shoot. Emma Stevens is now able to offer 1-2 novices shadowing with or without dogs, throughout the end of Dec and all of Jan. These days you will be with the picking up team for a full day one on one coaching with Emma and the picking up team. You will have a whole day watching and joining in with the advanced picking up dogs and have the ability to ask questions and get stuck in with all things to do with picking up, including, picking up etiquette, bracing birds, dispatching runners humanely and efficiently, learning where to stand, when to send a dog etc. Please note dogs attending need to have heard shot, picked cold game and be steady. These days will be 150-200 bird days so a lot of ground scent and game. Usually this is level 3 onwards in the Cunningshot Training classes.
