Join LWDG Group Expert Emma Stevens as she teams up with LWDG member Chelsea Clarkson from LakeSUP for a fun filled workshop combining placeboard training and paddleboarding with your dog! We will spend the morning placeboard training with specific focus on gundog placeboard training and getting the dogs used to sitting still for the afternoons events. 

In the afternoon Chelsea will take over for paddleboarding coaching on the water at the training ground, use this opportunity to get used to the boards and then add your dog to the mix :) 

This event is set to be a fun filled workshop whether you have been paddleboarding before or not, everyone is welcome. with only 10 places for the day available get in quick to avoid disappointment 

Event info:

Dogs do not have to be at any level of training to take part in the day. 

All training will be provided. 

Dogs are advised to be at least 6months of age. 

Dogs need to be social in a group with both humans and other dogs, aggressive dogs will not be permitted to come 

All equipment will be provided including, placeboards, paddleboards and paddle, human bouyancy aids, wetsuits on request (please fill out the form to include size etc) 

Things you will need to bring: 

treats - lots of them 

a lead 

something your dog retrieves 

change of clothes 

swimming costume 

towel 

drying coat for the dog 

harness (if you think it will help your dog get back on the board if they fall/jump in) 

Dog bouyancy aid (if you feel its needed or you would like your dog to wear one) 

lunch & drink for yourself 

water for your dog 

This is a full day event including both placeboards and paddleboarding there will not be places available for one or the other event. 

This event is non refundable if you cannot make it you are able to contact the LWDG to ask to advertise to resell your place.
